The smallest sensing object that can be detected for a Through-beam Photoelectric Sensor when the long direction of the slit and the sensing object move in parallel. For detection, a slit must be mounted to both the emitter and receiver and the sensitivity set to a level at which light can be properly received at the rated detection distance.
