Detects Broken Drills in Environments with Spattered Aluminum Chips

This application uses a Proximity Sensor with a Built-in Amplifier with resistance to aluminum chips.
If you mount this Sensor facing upward, it can detect presence of drills without being affected by aluminum chips.

Know-How

Conventional sensors often failed with aluminum chips, which caused the facilities to stop.

Benefit / Efficiency

A new pulse response method prevents failure when aluminum chips attach to the sensing face of the sensor.
