Sheet-feed Control of LCD Glass Substrates with Stringent Quality Controls
Case Number 201
last update: April 1, 2008
Two-dimensional codes containing product information, lot information, serial numbers, etc., are printed directly onto LCD substrates using a laser marker or exposure device, and the 2-dimensional codes are read at each process.
Know-How
This makes it easy to read direct marking, which is otherwise difficult to read.
The retrial function and bank function allow stable reading of codes that are covered by a film. This also provides a countermeasure for printing fluctuations.
System configuration and settings are easy, reducing the number of steps required for start-up.
Benefit / Efficiency
Each individual substrate can be managed, so more accurate history management is possible.
