Reading of 2-dimensional Codes on PCBs
Case Number 200
last update: April 1, 2008
Small, 4 mm x 4 mm 2-dimensional codes (with product number, lot number, production history, inspection history, etc.) are inscribed onto PCBs with direct marking for physical management.
Know-How
This makes it easy to read direct marking, which is otherwise difficult to read.
Setting is easy, and start-up is simple.
Integrated illumination helps reduce installation costs.
Benefit / Efficiency
The production history and inspection data can be managed for each substrate. This data can then be read from the 2-dimensional code and used for quick comparison if a defect occurs in the production or inspection process.
