Remotely Detects Presence of Glass Substrates

Case Number 33

last update: November 4, 2009

This application uses a Retroreflective Sensor with long detection distance.

This Sensor remotely detects the presence of glass substrates. Mounting a Beam Unit enables the use of line and area beams.

Know-How

Small photoelectric sensors with a long detection distance that detected glass substrates were not available.

Benefit / Efficiency

This application allows you to remotely detect presence of even large glass substrates.

Also, the Separate Amplifier configuration enables downsizing the sensing section.

Applied Models

E3C-LR + E3C-LDA

Use Products

E3C-LDA Photoelectric Sensor with Separate Digital Amplifier (Laser-type) E3C-LDA

Variable Laser Beam for Spot, Line, or Area Detection
